When life becomes unstable, Ferry Street offers help and guidance to get back on track.

    • Connections and referrals to homelessness outreach services.

    • Direct assistance in select cases.

    • Connections to temporary shelter resources or short-term housing for families and single women in crisis.

    • Transitional Housing for homeless single moms with kids.

    • Connections and assistance applying for stable housing solutions.

    • Coordinating access to local subsidized housing programs.

    • Help paying critical gas, electric, or water bills.

    • Help obtaining or replacing vital documents for identification and access to services—including birth certificate and ID.

    • Referrals to safe, reliable transportation for appointments or services.

    • Referrals to women’s health and pregnancy support services.
